Like, the media merger. Today's Life!'s mailbox, a ang moh(I know they hate that name, but hey, it's been around Signapore for ages.) wrote and said, if possible, he'd like to opt out for free-to-air TV. Of course, Channel 8 and 5 are like, so horrible, they keep screening repeats. Repeats of repeats. Like tonight's Pratical Magic. I believe this is at least the 4th time it's being screened. And what's a movie doing on a Friday 10pm slot? And when Channel 8 is even more horrible. No creativiy in their shows. They, put bluntly, blatantly copy Channel U and those Taiwanese variety shows. Like their 10pm news. When Channel U had their news for 45min, Channel 8 also had it for 45min. When Channel U recruited Jeff Chen, aka that Ah Cheng guy, Channel 8 also roped him in. Now the 11pm news on Channel U, that poor news anchor has to imitate Helen Chung. Because undeniably Helen Chung is the best Chinese news anchor Singapore ever had. What does this show? MediaCorp has no confidence in themselves. And who's the one who keep boasting they have a hefty 40 years of experience? Huh huh??!! I don't understand
WHY THERE'RE STILL PEOPLE WHO SUPPORT MEDIACORP. Tell me why please. Thank you very much.
