Read what the cat says today...After two whole days of Samurai reading and writing and translating..I now declare my term paper (together with Angel) is done!! Save for the editing suggested by my lecturer (he's going to edit for us! You're the best Dr Avenell!!), I can say byebye to all reports/term paper whatsoever except to the last Microb report which I'll write this weekend after the lab.
Been doing nothing but reports for the past week, and pissing someone out coz 1) according to this peep, I always say I have to write report when he MSN me (it is true what!!), 2) I accidently let him knew I blocked him on MSN. I only wanted to talk to my Japanese fren that night wat, and knowing he'll MSN me AGAIN, I can only block him lor, and everyone else whom I think will MSN me. It's not my fault, right? This is absurd la.
Yay the Meiji Gakuin students are coming next week! And I'm going to see my Jap fren's presentation!! -muahaa- -very excited- Coz I'd never had pen (or rather, email) pals before, and getting to meet in person! -fwah- And I'm getting more Jap-oriented now. Speaking of which, I read Clarissa Oon's article in Life! today. And I have to say, essentially we Singaporean Chinese ARE CHINESE, but we're different in many ways too. It's not we'd forgotten about the atrocities the Japaneses done to us during that 3 years, but it is not very important now, is it? Especially when everything is driven by economic sense now, it makes not much sense to remember all the grudges, no? I may technically speaking be the 2nd generation of Chinese immigrant in Singapore (yes, my grandparents came Singapore after the World War II only), I feel like half a mainland Chinese and half Malaysian Chinese, but born in Singapore. And I don't have such strong feelings towards most issues regarding China, like all Singaporeans. Of coz, things like the Taiwan issue, the Diaoyudao issue, I'll stand on the side of China, but otherwise, I'm quite neutral, especially the anti-Japan thing. Ridiculous la. Think economy man, ECONOMY is the big word now. And Japan is so technologically advance in the area of biomedical science compared to China! Which explains why I'd go to Japan to study if I have a chance. -gah-
And things had come to a point that if I marry, I'd choose to marry a non-Singaporean. =x I think I have enough of Singaporean guys. Especially those of the same age guys. Sorry to all my guy peeps out there, but I think most are becoming "sisters". That is very sad, no? =xWhen I play with my cat, who knows if I am not a pasttime for her more than she is to me?---Michel deMontaigne---
