Read what the cat says today...Wahahaha!! Very hyper now..Coz biz Jap is taught by Takeda n Walker sensei!! YAY!!! YAY!!!! Very very happy =D
On a more personal note, I realise, I no longer have the penchant for watching movies. Like, I wanted to watch Hidden Blade, or Kingdom of Heaven, but I still missed them, I don't feel particularly bad or what, coz I can always borrow or buy the VCD. It doesn't bug me anymore that I never get to catch the show. What bugs me is the silly increase in movie tickets!! Maybe 2 years later you'll hear each movie ticket you buy on a Friday or the weekends cost $10.50. What, are they going to increase the price of a ticket to as much as it cost in Japan, ie $20??!! Why not increase people's pay first, HUH HUH!! I don't feel the service in Singapore's theatres improved, or the shows they screen are better, so I don't feel I should pay that amount to watch a movie. I can always pay more for a VCD or DVD(since THESE are the ones that are actually decreasing in price, such irony), and watch N times at the comfort of my home. Small screen, so what? I can pause and stop and resume any time I want. Anyway, watching such a big screen in a dark room with all the booming sound is bad for BOTH my ears and eyes.
There, I rest my case.
PS: Seriously, not many movies I feel are worth watching. I'm no movie critic, of coz. What I really want to watch are those indie/artsy films tho. And Asian arthouse shows. Hollywood shows, a tad too commercialised. =x When I play with my cat, who knows if I am not a pasttime for her more than she is to me?---Michel deMontaigne---
