Read what the cat says today...Yesterday was another gathering of some sort with the people in my lab. My lab seems quite happening hor. Anyway, the senior lab officer got promoted (to what post I dunno la, definitely confined to lab that's for sure), so she invited us to her house for a BBQ. She's rich ok. Boss and another guy (lecturer) were invited, and us the small fries on the same level too. It was a fun gossipy dinner with both the honours students and the post-grads. Actually it was more like an interrogating session for one of the ex-post-grad. *scandalous news only for those who were under him when he was still a TA in NUS* In the midst of his interrogation, he was trying to set me up with one of the honours guy. -_- "Good Christian guy!" The one who folded flowers for everyone in lab during Valentine's la. Er, thankx but no thanks eh. If he's not a Christian I may consider.
Now, I'm not anti the religion, but just that two people of different religion can't really be together without having conflicts about the religion eh? It explains why most Christians want to find a bf/gf of the same religion. -shrugs- *Oh, and he's my senior too! As in, was from NJ as well, this honours guy. *
Dinner ended pretty late, and we all (the small fries) left at 11.45. -_- There were 8 of us, and someone suggested going KBox. Gah. So late liao so I went home. The rest went AMK KBox, and who knows what time they left. Hehehe.
Why we left so late was coz, the host insisted we help her finish up 2 bottles of wine that were only half consumed. So everyone except two who were driving had to drink. Yep, me drank 1 glass of 13.5% alcohol red wine. And someone commented, "Eh, JR's face don't turn red one! Can drink some more!" -_- And us being Life Science pple, the conversation changed to how people like me whose face doesn't turn red lack NADH and can't metabolise the alcohol or what not. So the conclusion is, I should not drink so much. =x *what the* Oh, and I wasn't tipsy at all. Muahahaha. Maybe 1 glass only.
Long long day tomorrow. Ciao. When I play with my cat, who knows if I am not a pasttime for her more than she is to me?---Michel deMontaigne---
